In June 2020, Nassau Coliseum was closed indefinitely as its owners sought new investors, putting the Islanders’ plans to return to the arena full-time for the 2020–21 season in doubt. Nassau Coliseum.

Billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov’s Onexim Sports and Entertainment, which operates the arena under a lease from Nassau County, is planning to shutter the venue indefinitely while it seeks investors to take over operations and pick up the remaining debt on the building, according to people familiar with the matter.
Do you have to pay for parking at Nassau Coliseum?
The Coliseum does not charge a flat-fee for parking. Concert-goers can purchase their parking passes when they buy tickets online through Ticketmaster, or by visiting the Coliseum’s parking page. In addition, those who purchase parking in advance will have access to express lanes to enter the parking lot.
